So today is February 2 and around 7:30 a.m. in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow which means Phil predicts six -6- more weeks of Winter.

Now know that there are other famous groundhogs like Staten Island Chuck; Jimmy in Wisconsin and General Beau Lee in Georgia all weighted in this time with the very same prediction of six -6- more weeks of winter. Punxsutawney Phil has the best track record since 1887 so this is who the media goes with in case you wondered.

Let all my Northern family and friends say OH NO … so sorry guys but know Florida weather is a bit cooler for us as we are all pulling out our winter flip flops.

Hope I made you laugh as we have to find the good in all of this and I sure had my fill of shoveling snow, parking at the bottom of hills, walking the hills, deicing the cars, snow plows and salted roads so I feel your pain.

Look at it this way you can build a nice fire, grab a nice cool beverage then put a little umbrella in it and lay in front of the fire pretending it is your beach.  Always look for the good it will be over in time for Easter!
