Today, Wednesday, September 23, 2015, marks the 2015 First Day of Fall!

We have survived the dog days of summer and it’s time to cool off!  Today at 4:21 a.m. EDT is when the sun moves directly over the equator, making day and night nearly the same length.  Fall officially has come and runs through December 21 when winter will be upon us.

Fall was originally called HARVEST in the 1200 but 300 years later people started using AUTUMN from the French word – fall of the leaf – which gained popularity in the 16 century and still used today.

No matter what you call it; fall is a season for changing leaves, adding scarf’s but always in Florida the flip flop’s will stay until winter.  We will be making our annual trip to West Virginia soon to see the changing leaves and I hope you all enjoy what leaves you have or go where you can enjoy their beautiful changing colors!

This season is about pulling out your pumpkins, fall leaves, scarecrows, and Halloween decorations!  As we cool off, remember next up are Thanksgiving; Hanukkah and Christmas!

HAPPENS … I ran across this the other day on the web and laughed until I cried as I SO Resemble this as I am sure a lot of others do!  Technology is an awesome beast of Real Life that goes down daily where we have such great quick access … what did we do before cell phones!  LOL

Of course I’m checking Football; Baseball and soon the TB Lightning scores then what is going on in the events world.  Which is my next little blurb since you all know that I am the People Person for the Oldsmar Safety Harbor American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

I want to personally INVITE You and your friends to JOIN the RELAY PARTY on Monday, October 5 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Oldsmar.  FOOD – FUN – INFO on what to expect about the event.  After that make up your mind whether you want to be a part of not … you decision and NO pressure but Come … Play … Eat … Laugh and get informed on Oldsmar Safety Harbor Relay.

It’s going down tomorrow and we want to make sure YOU attend the FUN!   My thinking outside the box has resulted in my new creation called the “UN” Event where the second one kicks off tomorrow!

It’s called the ”UN” as in you do not have to get dressed up, eat another chamber chicken plate or be any place at a specific time to participate by showing your support.  You can do it ALL from the comfort of your home or choice of location!

This “UN” event I created, is an online auction which means all you need is your iPhone; Android; iPad; laptop or desktop to be a part.  We set a specific date, time and link for you to go online during that specific time and bid on a variety of packages that interest YOU.  When you win, the package will be shipped complimentary to your door all while benefiting the organization involved.
