Top ‘O The Mahrnin’to Ya! Happy St Patrick’s Day to all my Shannon Clan!! May the wind be at your back today!!!! The Day of the Festival of Patrick – Irish La Fheile Padraig – is a cultural and religious celebration held on March 17 traditionally the death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.

Saint Patrick Day is a holiday where it is customary to wear shamrocks, green clothing or accessories and the eating or drinking of green items whether infused with green food coloring or naturally green.

The color green has been associated with Ireland since the 1640s when the green harp flag was used by the Irish Catholic Confederation.  Green ribbons and shamrocks have been worn on St Patrick’s Day since 1680.  In 1903 St Patrick’s Day became an official public holiday in Ireland with an official parade.

The United States widely recognizes and observes St Patrick’s Day as a celebration of Irish and Irish American culture.  Celebrations include prominent display of green and this celebration began in North America in the late Eighteenth Century.

Monday Jester

Something silly to make your Monday not such a dreaded day and you have time to get ready before Next Monday Court Jester Day!

No real expense needed you can go purchase a real hat that costs about $25 or you can go to Dollar Tree for the Headband for $1 either way it works for this FUN way to break the Monday Staff Meeting or just usual Monday I want it to be the weekend still.  PS – it is Mardi Gras time and readily found around your town.

So here is the silliness for this week … During a meeting, while updates are given as long as someone is talking pass the hat or headband.  When there is a pause the person holding the hat or headband must put it on and sing something silly or do a dance or tell a joke.  When the next person updating the group takes the floor start over again.

No meeting … well every three hours have a stand up and stretch with 2 minutes of music and pass the hat or headband then the last person holding this has to wear the hat or headband for the next 2 hours and sing periodically.  After their 2 hours do the stretch song again and hopefully a new person gets the hat or headband.

Well it came and it went with a GREAT BANG of SUCCESS … what you ask well attached is the video of the First Annual Rooftop Party held March 5, 2015 on the Actual Rooftop of Nielsen in Oldsmar, FL.

MY Oldsmar Gang

So last night at 10:30 p.m. we wrapped up the Signature Event for o2b Fun, Inc called Rooftop Party and what a view we had ontop of Nielsen parking garage.  This AWESOME group is one of three pictures I have received so far and This Group is truly my long time Friends, Supporters and Fun Gang … thanks for all the Memories and here is to TONS More!  Love you all to the moon and back a bazillion times (yes I know that is not a real number)

Earn Your Seat

Wednesday FUN activity … as I think about this “Earn your seat,” idea I can see my Friend from Family First, Barbara Hall laughing then saying you really are kidding right!

Wacky Wednesday   Earn Seat

So this may or may not work but I think it would be fun.  Ever wished your seat was closer to a window or the door or the coffee area or just not where you currently are.

IF this does Not cause trouble in your work area let the seats for one day be “First Come First Serve.”  Means the first person into work gets first pick of the seat they want and so on until everyone arrives.  May be an incentive to get people to work extra early!

People you do need to ensure you continue to do your work and bring all necessary items from your “REAL” seat to the “Earned for the day” seat … an no outside seats, hahahaa I know someone will try that!

Barbara Hall, I Love you and Miss you … maybe today they could enjoy this silliness.
